Another heavy defeat at home!
Nottingham Forest came to London and frustrated the Blues losing 0-3 on this bank holiday. The home team did everything right in how they wanted to play: control possession, push the opponents back against their own goal, but again, they lads could not execute where it is needed - in the opponent’s 18 yard box with a goal to show for their efforts. Forest attacked quickly and scored where it counted and they stymied the home team in another lackluster effort where goals are needed. The goalless drought in the league did finally come to an end very late in the dying minutes with a sweet overhead kick from Joao Pedro, which may be one of the goals of the season, but it was too little too late as it was the next to last play as the whistle blew ending the match.
Onward and backwards,, now comes one of the last big matchups in the Premier League season, an away match at Anfield vs Liverpool. It a distant memory now back in October when a promising start to the season with a last minute goal by Estevao help lift the club to victory over Liverpool 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. Can the boys pull some magic out of their boots and try to get out of this funk?
Come down to the Londoner Addison this Saturday morning and kick it with the Shed End Dallas crew. We look forward to seeing you there!
Cheers,
